How To Get The Plumehound Pilgrimage Quest
The Plumehound Pilgrimage quest begins witha simple, innocuous letter, from Hassian. The letter only indicates that Hassian has a special mission for you, but doesn't explain anything about what it could involve.
*In order to receive this quest, you need to have already completed the Vault of Waves questline. You don't need to have completed the bundle, just the base questline.
The letter Hassian sends you could easily be mistaken for hunting skill quests, so make sure you talk to Hassian as soon as possible if you want this quest.
Talk To Hassian
When you talk to Hassian, he explains that heneeds your help to find out what Tau is doing in the middle of the night.
Tau is specially trained to stay put during the night, so Hassian knows something is amiss when Tau keeps disappearing. Hassian will tell you to meethim at his grove in Bahari Bay.
Visit Hassian's Grove Location In Bahari Bay
The quest will tell youtofind Tau's tracks, but once you make it to Hassian's Grove, thedirections should change to "follow Tau's tracks", even if you haven't seen Tau's trail yet.
Following Tau's trail might be difficult at first, especially if you don't know what to look for. The best method is to track the quest and check the map for a highlighted location.
The tracks show up like little muddy pawprints near mounds of dirt that you can interact with.
Follow Tau's Pawprint Trail
If you've struggled to pick up Tau's trail, head to the Flooded Steps keeping to the paths. You should run into a little mound of dirt with a faint sparkly aura on the path that heads into Flooded Fortress.
You can interact with the dirt to collect certain items. The pawprints near the dirt will point you in a certain direction, and it's easy to follow them to the end of the trail.
There is one location where the tracks are further apart. Just keep traveling in the direction the tracks lead, and you'll pick the trail up again once you cross some water.
You'll arrive at a set of ruins, and the last dirt pile to loot contains some technology that looks like another one of the ancient batteries.
The quest tells you that Hassian thinks you shouldtalk to Sifuu about the battery. You don't need to chat with Hassian at all and can go directly to Sifuu.
Chat With Sifuu And Zeki
When you chat with Sifuu, you may learn a few things, such as her inability to work with batteries. If you haven't already discovered thatZeki has an underground shop, you'll also learn about that.
She'll send you tospeak with Zeki with instructions to remind him thathe owes her a favor. It's best to speak with Zeki in the underground market if it's about the battery.
If you talk to certain people during this quest, you'll get some extra dialogue experiences. You can talk to Hassian and Jina, and you could possibly get some from Najuma and Hodari as well.
Talk To Zeki
It's a good thing Zeki has knowledge about the ancient battery since he dabbles with flow-related devices frequently. He knows exactly what you'll need to get it working again.
He gives you some vague descriptions oflocations where you can find flowstones. Check the map to find the location of the area you should search.
Whenever you can't see Zeki on the map, check the underground market. He should be running the main cash register.
How To Collect The Flowstones
If you're not sure what a flowstone looks like,it's glowy and pink and will have the standard sparkly aura that lets you know you can interact with it. There arefive flowstones in all.
All the flowstones are located in the Pavel Mines.
Where To Find The Flowstone Near A Ruin
This flowstone is located at the lower exit of the Pavel Mines, closest to the Flooded Fortress ruins, just inside the tunnel opening.
How To Get The Flowstone Near An Exit
The flowstone located near an exit, might be better described as one just inside the entrance to the mines, where Hodari hangs out during the day. It's the lower entrance closest to the path leading right up to the mines.
Where To Get The Flowstone Near Water
If you happen to be fishing in Pavel Mines near the small dock, you may come across this one without even trying. There is a rock formation that can make it tricky to see, however, if you don't go all the way onto the docks.
Where To Find The Flowstone Near Barrels
From the Pavel Mines main entrancewhere Hodari stands out front, take the first mineshaft tunnel on the left and follow it till you see some railroad tracks on the right. There's a little alcove and some barrels sitting outside the framed alcove. The flowstone will be easily visible right next to the barrels.
How To Get The Flowstone Up High
The easiest way to collect the flowstone up high is totake the highest level entrance into the Pavel Mines and drop down two levels. You should be on one of the middle levels in the mines where ore nodes often spawn.
The flowstone will be by the barrels and easily visible once you walk toward the ledge. If you're facing the ledge, it'll show up on your left.
Deliver The Flowstones To Zeki
Once you've obtained all the flowstones, deliver them to Zeki. After you give Zeki the flowstones, he'll fix up the battery right then and give it back to you. The quest will tell you to talk to Sifuu about the repaired battery.
Make sure you talk to Zeki when he'sin the underground secret area for his illegal market. If you try to turn in the quest while he's somewhere else, he'll freak out a bit and remind you to talk to him somewhere more private.
Talk To Sifuu Once Again
Once you tell Sifuu the good news about the repaired ancient battery, she hints thatyou and Hassian might need some help for the rest of the journey. You caninvite her to come along, and she'll admit she would have invited herself along anyway.
The next part ofthe story continues with a quest called "A Catalyzing Caper" that will be in your quest log after you chat with Sifuu to wrap up the Plumehound Pilgrimage quest.
