What schools are in the Jayhawk football conference? ›

Only seven of the schools have football: Butler, Coffeyville, Dodge City, Garden City, Hutchinson, Highland, and Independence. The conference is not divided into divisions for football.

Members of the Jayhawk Collegiate League include: Derby Twins, Great Bend Bat Cats, Haysville Aviators, Hutchinson Monarchs, Kansas Cannons, Kingman Islanders, and Newton Rebels.

KU athletic teams have won fifteen national championships all-time, with twelve of those being NCAA Division I championships: four in men's basketball, one in men's cross country, three in men's indoor track and field, three in men's outdoor track and field, and one in women's outdoor track and field.

Manchester University teams participate as a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division III. The Spartans are a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC).
