Was amazing to hear the passion from the Bath Rugby Foundation and particularly andy salmon at Bath Spa University - The educational attainment gap in Bath is among the worst in England, with a significant number of children relying on free school meals.- Approximately 20% of children are in digital poverty, it is a deep-seated issue affecting cities across the UK. - You wouldn't think Bath is affected... but I assure you.. it is... 7 schools supporting 40% of all children on free school meals in the area in Bath; furthermore, across the UK, many low-income families on benefits have not received confirmation of free school meals because they cannot get online. At Meshii WiFi we believe every child should be given as much opportunity and support to education, ensuring that everyone has equal access to the digital world. Connectivity Innovation is our solution, but we work with a hybrid approach with our outreach the community to get underserved community's online, signposting services for the other barriers of digital inclusion. This gifting of the Match Ball sponsership to a life long fan just seemed like 'The Right Thing To Do'.Twists of fait brought our paths together.Match Ball Sponsors are normally in the Arnold Hills (as we were previous).However myself and others prefer the Forge because we get seats closer to the pitch (even if we go through another lounge), the rooms are more of a bustle although some might say slightly less sophisticated / exclusive. So I requested the change to suit 'our tastes'. On the offical site Aronald hills is 4x£ compared to Forge 3x£ but we want to see and 'feel' the game. Our tables happened to be next to each other due to the size of both parties, and the friendliness of both groups meant there was some interaction.After swwing the cake come out and hearing the stories, it was just the right thing to do.
